How big should your PowerPoint on-screen slide image be for maximum readability? For groups showing PowerPoint slides, the rule of thumb for comfortable viewing by your most distant viewer for picture size is 6 times your image height. If your image is approximately 4.5’ high x 8’wide the farthest seated back in the corner person should only be about 27 feet away.
Make the stage the correct size. When specifying a stage size for a wedding party, make sure the left to right dimension is at least double the number of people seated from left to right.
It's all about economizing space. In tight venues like private dining rooms or conference rooms consider a short throw projector to minimize throw distance. This way the projector sits at the end of the table near the screen or possibly even off the table on a separate one, thus eliminating the projector being placed in the middle of the dining table or conference table.
