Brian LaPoint
Brian has been in the sound and lighting business since high school. In fact, his father owned a sound and lighting live events company and that’s how he got his start.
Brian also worked in live events as part of the local stagehand’s union, including setting up for national acts at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview. For many years he helped set up
and run sound and lighting for live music at Sharkey's Bar and Grill pavilion in Liverpool.
Brian has experience designing sound and lighting solutions for live events as well as permanent installations. To this day, he also works at the Center for the Arts of Homer (in Homer, NY) where he is Lighting Director.
Jarod DeJohn
Jarod is another one who has been running sound for local musical acts for over 10 years. He still freelances for festivals and special events at Wizzard Sound and directly with various local bands.
Zack Sovocool
Zack is a graduate of the SUNY Fredonia Music Industry program, with a passion for all things AV. With experience in live production management as well as recording technology and video production, he likes to keep his hands full. Here at Francis Audio Visual, Zack is also our in-house videographer and editor.
Zack has worked in venues like the Center for the Arts in Homer, Rose Hall in Cortland, and even does free-lance work when he can.
Bill Francis
Apart from being the owner of Francis Audio-Visual, Bill has provided solutions for live events for decades. Having attended Syracuse University, he then entered the family business, begun by his father in 1957!
Bill has setup and run corporate meetings and events in virtually every major meeting hall and venue in Central NY.
In addition to live corporate meeting and event production, he also has a strong background in permanent AV solutions for corporate meeting rooms. Whether it be simple makeovers or ceiling-based video conferencing systems for your conference room, he will do his best to come up with the solution that is right for you.
What Francis Audio-Visual Is Not
To save you time in your search for solutions, we want to make you aware of the types of requests we get that are not a part of our services portfolio.
Francis Audio-Visual is not in the home theater business, car stereo, security systems, IT-managed services, or video production business. We do not videotape weddings and softball games.
