Image magnification (known as IMAG) is something you have seen on TV for many years if you’ve ever watched awards shows or if you’ve ever been to a big rock concert. You just may not have been aware of it.

IMAG is simply when you see a close-up of the person(s) on stage on the big video screens. It gives everyone a “good seat” and helps to keep everyone engaged.

IMAG is Appropriate for Large or Small Venues

A "straight-away" camera is usually the best choice when using just one camera. This means that IMAG is not just for big venues like the JMA Wireless Dome. It’s effective even in banquet rooms where you have a full-house or a wide seating format. Or, where guests have an obstructed view because of a column, low ceiling or hanging chandelier.

Basic Package

As you can see in the picture above, this is an ideal situation where IMAG can be taken full advantage of. Even though it’s a fairly small room, because it’s so full of people, Image Magnification allows the people seated way in the back to get a great view of what’s going on at the front of the room.

This package includes a PTZ “Remote-Controlled” video camera so there is no camera operator standing at the camera blocking anyone’s view.
