Three Common Scenarios of a Zoom or Video Conferencing Call

  • You are the Host location. This is typically where the presenter is located.
  • You are at a Guest location.
  • There is no presenter and you need full, 2-way communication (including document sharing).

In some situations such as Board Meetings, full two-way communication is important. In these situations, you will have full 2-Way audio and video with cameras, video displays, PA Systems & microphones at both locations.

Description & Highlights

If you have a small group meeting you may also be on a small budget. This package gets the job done and is budget-friendly.

Great for a conference room, private dining room or small banquet room, the presenter is captured by a single camera and broadcast to your guest location(s).  

Video quality is secondary as the message is what is important. The primary goal here is good intelligible audio.

This package is ideal for a seminar where you have a presenter and audience question & answer that needs to be captured on camera for the conference call.

Seminars run for hours so it’s important to keep guests at remote locations involved. Having guests be able to see both the presenter and audience does just that.

High quality 2-way audio needs to be heard and high-quality video needs to be seen by board members at remote location(s).  

Board members at primary location need to see and hear remote location board members.

Great for that U-shape or conference table for board members who cannot attend the meeting in person. They need to be part of the board meeting so they need high-quality 2-way audio and they need to be seen at the main location. They can see the people at the main location as well as hear them through the local PA System.

Also good for Roundtable discussions, departmental meetings, team collaboration meetings, etc. In hollow rectangle, conference table seating formats.

Description & Highlights

PowerPoint presentations are given at both locations so there is a need to share content between both locations at any given time.

There are also two cameras at both locations - one to capture the presenter at the speaker's podium and one to capture audience comments or Q & A.

Usually takes place off-site at a restaurant or hotel/banquet facility and it’s assumed that there is usually a house speaker’s podium available.
